Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, Nov 8 2006 - Glenn A. Stewart was born in Clinton August 10, 1909, to Walter and Johanna Matter Stewart and died October 28, 2006, at Golden Valley Hospital. He attended Mound School. After graduation he worked on the family farm, as well as several neighboring farms. He married Doris Justis in August 1931. They lived in thhe Mt. Carmel neighborhood until they purchased a farm in the Norris community. Glenn loved farming, hunting, gardening and fishing and pursused these activities with gusto. He always had a tale to tell and passed along a verbal history of life during the early 1900s and the Depression era. After retirement he was a full-t9ime caretaker for Doris during a lengthy illness. After her death he lived alone and handled all the normal tasks of living until at age 94 he moved to Clinton Rehab where he resided until his death. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife and three brothers, Emery, Clifford and Clarence Stewart. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held November 1 at Consalus Funeral Home. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery.
