The Greenwood Commonwealth, Thursday, January 15, 2009: GREENVILLE - Services for Gladys Eudell Smith of Greenville will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville.

Mrs. Smith, 97, died of heart failure Wednesday, Jan, 14, 2009, at the Mississippi Care Unit in Greenville.

Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Mary E. Bills Robison; and her daughter, Mavis Mims.

She is survived by four daughters, Betty Chambers of Benoit, Joyce Skelton of Benoit, Dorothy Robertson of Greenville and Diane Coleman of Cleveland; three sons, James E. Smith of Benoit, Aubry Smith of Bartlett, Tenn., and Joe W. Smith of Morgan City; her sister, Ramona Kyle of Ruleville; 50 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Floyd Cooper will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Smith's grandsons.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Drew Cemetery in Drew.
