Mary Polly Stephens was never married, but she had 3 children that we know of, possibly 4. Their father was believed to be George Fuller Harris, her 1st cousin, the son of her Aunt Dorcas Stephens Harris, as court records seem to imply, (she filed Basterdy Charges against him, but when the case appeared before court, she never showed up). Her gr grandson (Wilbur Wisdom) also gave me this same information. Wilbur's friend, David Harris, also told Wilbur that a Harris had fathered the children. When asked which Harris did the Harris family believe fathered the children. He said George.
