He was born Aug.11, 1907 in Butler township, Adams County, a son of the late John e and Mary Alice McCans Guise.
He owned and operated a dairy his entire life. He was affiliated with Mount Olivet United Brethren Church in Guernsey.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl A. Bricker to whom he was married for 66 years. Three daughters, Mildred G. Guise, Marian M. Guise, and Miriam M. Crouse all of Aspers; one son Robert G Guise of Aspers, one brother Raymond T. Guise of Mumasburg and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Dugan Funeral home with the Rev. Burton Lange and the Rev. Daniel Wehler, officiating. Interment will be in Flohrs' Lutheran Church Cemetery in McKnightstown.
