The gravestone shows date of death as 14 Feb 1928. However, the TX Death Certificate says he died on 13 Feb 1929 and was buried on 14 Feb 1929. If the stone was erected years after his death, there may have been an error made in engraving the death date. Don't know if you have a family connection with Mr. Collins or not. He was a 2nd cousin to my grandmother. I have just recently come across this conflict regarding his date of death and thought I would bring it to your attention.
