Frances M Warren married James Wesley Herrin and they made their home in Otero County, Colorado where they raised their sons, James Wesley Herrin Jr, born 26 Jan 1910 and Edward F Herrin born in 1911. When they were first married they were both employed with the Prairie Cattle Company, James as a range rider and, Fannie, as she was called, as a cook. The Prairie Cattle Company ceased business in 1916 and James began farming and ranching for himself.
