Ruby had two children Lila Mae born 28Oct1912 and Jack MIlton born 11Jan1914. Her husband Alfred worked for the railroad and died in a train accident. She worked most of her life -in collection for a magazine company, switchboard operator for Shreveport Times newspaper and Louisiana-Arkansas fuel oil. Did volunteer work for Confederate Memorial hospital (now LSU Shreveport) for a number of years.
