Marian was born in rural Norway, SC. She was married to John Arthur Kennemore. They had one son who was born and died in the summer of 1961. Their son is buried in Memorial Park cemetery in the Baby Section along the back fence area.
Marian worked as the office manager for Kennemore Brothers. As a small child I remembered visiting Aunt Marian and Uncle John at their work place. Uncle John would give me and my sister Donna a Coke if he was there. I remember Aunt Marian as always being so pretty and well put together. They rented a small apartment in Orangeburg that was on the second story of a home. I remember visiting them on the weekends. Uncle John would be watching TV laying in bed and Aunt Marian would be in the living room watching her TV. I always thought that was so neat and they must be rich because they had TWO TVs. They were a very loving aunt and uncle to me and my sisters.
