She was born May 11, 1925, in Naylor, Mo., the daughter of Thomas J. and Addie Roundtree Hunt. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker. She belonged to Eastwood Church of Christ.
In 1947, she married George L. Elzey in St. Joseph, Mo. He died in 1976. Survivors include: three sons, Tom Womack, Lee's Summit, Mo., Gary Elzey, South Hutchinson, and Terry Elzey, Ellinwood; a daughter, Lin Reber, Blue Springs, Mo; her best friend, Lois Thayer, Hutchinson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside service will be at 11 am today in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Richard Foster presiding. Visitation will be today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present to receive friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
