Ray Adams was married to:
WIFE - Opal Huddleston.

From this union was born two children:
(1) SON - Tom Adams / married Gay Adams
(2) SON - James Adams (stillborn)

He was the 'Grandfather'
to a trio of Grandchildren:
(1) GRANDSON - Steven
(2) GRANDSON - Jason
(3) GRANDSON - Bryan

+++++++++++++++++++++

Ray Adams served in the
United States Navy in WWII

+++++++++++++++++++++

Ray Adams faithfully attended
the First Methodist Church
(in NLR)
and was a Christian gentleman.

Mr. Adams was a Plumber.

After retirement, he would
stroll the length of his
neighborhood - chatting
with all the older men
in the area, occassionally
resting on the tall stone
walls gracing different
lawns in the area.
Eventually, he would
stroll back homeward.
He stayed both fit as
well as 'informed'
on these outings!

++++++++++++++++++++++++

He hand built a wonderful
'pool table'for his son,
as well as his grandsons,
to enjoy. He proved himself
to be a talented carpenter!

As a Grandpa, Mr. A. was
also known to occasionally
talk his oldest grandson
(who was considerably smaller
and therefore could more
easily crawl under a house)
into tending some leaky this
or that under some ancient
dwelling! The child's
Grandmother and parents
would have had a fit, had
they known the child - just
a little boy - was under there
in the dark, mud, rat 'n
spider infested area!
(The kid loved it!)

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Ray Adams was also patient with folks
who required his 'Plumbing Wisdom'!
They would get all sorts of items
clogging their drains! Rather than be
angry at being disturbed during Prime
Time TV viewing, the 'Retired Plumber'
seemed to relish being 'Back in the
Harness' again! Ray would race out to
fetch his plumbers tools from his
little red, metal shed located at the
corner of his lawn. Dusting them off a
bit, he would 'make magic'! In no time,
Ray would have everything flowing-and-
going again for everyone!

Ray Adams was an excellent craftsman.
