Mrs. Alene Autry Coats, 87, of 6554 Maxwell Road, Stedman, died Monday, October 22, at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Fayetteville.
She was retired from Sears after 25 years of service.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 25 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Milton Little and Rev. Mitch Minson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery
Mrs. Coats is survived by a daughter, Helen Rose Autry Williams and husband Wendell of Wade; a son, Charles E. Autry and wife Arlene of Naples, Fla.; two stepsons, Bobby Coats of Fayetteville and Eugene Coats of Wilmington; a sister, Ernestine Fogleman and husband Claude of Greensboro; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M.
