Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., on Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Oaklawn Cemetery with Bill McGehee officiating.
Born in Chester to the late John Jefferson Cannon and Nannie Bell Mullis Cannon, Mrs. Pearson was a homemaker, longtime member of First Baptist Church of Fort Valley and she loved to fish. An avid duplicate bridge player, she was one of the first life masters in our area.
Survivors include her children, Lynn and Glenn Miles of Cleveland, Ray and Judye Pearson of Macon, and Guy and Judy Pearson of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Debra Dene Fritch-Levens, Ray Cannon Pearson Jr., Richard Wynne Pearson, Leigh Margaret Pearson and James Hartley Pearson II; four great grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Jeanne Cannon of Fayetteville, TN, and Buford Cannon of Prattville, AL.
