Born and raised in Mancos, Colorado. Parents: Henry Royal Dean and Dolores Bruun. Married Harold Oscar Nelson in Gallup, New Mexico on the 7th of Nov. 1931. Mother of three daughters. She loved sewing, cooking, (she never turned the hungry from her door)and being with her children and grandchildren. She died from complications caused by a stroke. She is buried between her husband and her daughter Geraldine Lynette. Her parents Dolores Bruun and Roy Dean are also buried nearby as well as brother Franklin and Robert Michael Dean.
