Well-Known Fairfield Physician Had Practiced 60 Years
Dr. J. T. Hufford, aged 84, passed away at his home at Clearport Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, demise said to be due to Bright's disease, the doctor having been afflicted for several years and has been bedfast since last January.
Dr. Hufford was one of the best known physicians in the county, having practiced in Clearport for sixty years.
Besides the widow, five children survive, Mrs. Cora Fausnaugh of Rushville, Mrs. F. A. Adler of Amanda, J. B. Hufford of Westerville, James of Amanda and L. L. Hufford of Mass.; also sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Friday (hour to be announced later) from the Hopewell Church and interment to be made in Mt. Carmel Cemetery by Deffenbaugh, Tarlton Funeral Director.
