Darrel L. Ashley, 72, of Abingdon, Illinois died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at the Care Center of Abingdon.
He was born April 8, 1936 in Beardstown, Illinois to Edward and Pauline Icenogle Ashley. He married Bonnie Morss and later married Bonnie Sorrells.
Darrel is survived by his daughter, Kyle (Douglas) Martin; a brother, Larry (Della) Ashley; and a sister, Janet (Tom) Prior.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked at the Abingdon Pottery for 44 years, retiring in 1998.
Cremation was accorded.
