First born child of Samuel Peter Miller and Eliza Jane Madden. Served in the US Army during WWI with the American Expeditionary Forces in various theatres in France including Alsace-Lorraine, Argonne Sector, and near Verdun. Co F 110 Amm Train.
In 1920 he married Siothia Frances "Fannie" Goodpasture. They had six children: Arnold (died age 11 mos); Francis, Curtis, Nettie, Thelma, and Betty. Fannie died of illness in 1933 when their youngest baby was 11 months old.

After Fannie's death Curt married Virginia "Virgie" Burna Mae Broughton on 23 Nov 1940 in Hardin Co., KY. They had three children: Samuel Burnette, b. 1 Jun 1942; Virginia Ann, b. 26 July 1943, d. 2 Sep 1943; and Mimie Louise, b. Oct. 1944. Curt and Virgie divorced at an as yet unknown date.

Curt, along with his brothers Bill and Clay, owned and operated a tire re-capping store in Louisville. All three brothers loved to fish.

NOTE: The three youngest children listed below (Samuel, Virginia, and Mimie) with memorials at findagrave are Curt's son and daughters from his second marriage after Fannie's death. They are not Fannie's children.
