OBITUARY - "West Valley View", published 8/16/2000 -- Norbert A. Goskowicz, formerly of Tolleson, died July 27, 2000. He was 76. Goskowicz was born March 27, 1924 in Madison, Wis. He was the director of plant operations for the Swift and Company meat packing plant in Tolleson from 1945-1986.

He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Brute Society. He served in World War II and the Korean War.

Goskowicz is survived by: his wife, Helen; daughter, Christine (Rob) Larson; sisters, Elizabeth Garski, Esther Ostrowski, Wanda (Henry) Trzebiatowski, Eleanor (Alex) Brzezinski, Bernadetta (Ervin) Wanta and Bernice Szeremet; brothers, Julian, Alvin, Anton (Rose), Eugene (Kay) and Jim (Sue); and three grandchildren.

Services were held July 29 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Knowlton, Wis.
