Minnie was a talented artist, loved to paint. She also could sing; was a very good alto. The girls all had the middle initial "L" it stood for Lucretia, but Minnie decided the "L" stood for "Loretta".

Minnie L. Lohr, 99, of 13 N. Broad Street, Lancaster, died Sunday, June 17, 1984, at the Duke Convelescent Center, after a six year illness. She was the widow of Fred Lohr. She was born in Springs, the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Lucretia (Fuller) Miller. She had lived in Lancaster since 1927; prior to that, in Springs. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church and is survived by four daughters and one son: Albert M., of Lancaster; Cora E. Frymyer, with whom she resided; Miriam June Thomas, of Lancaster; A. Carolyn, wife of Dr. Roy A. Hartmann, of Intercourse; Blanche W., wife of Benjamin Byers, of Thomasville; also 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Services were held at the funeral home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., Lancaster, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment Lancaster Cemetery.
