Son of Jesse Taylor Alsup & Sarah A. Loines. Date on death certificate conflicts with other data. WWI Draft lists birth as 21 Nov 1873 which is more in line with census records. He married Willie Binkley the first time on 11 Dec 1892 in Finley, Dyer Co., TN. Resided in Pemiscot Co., MO when a fire engulfed his home. He was burned but was mentally unfit thereafter and was committed to Farmington State Hospital. His wife, at the time, Ada Carroll, divorced him and moved with their daughter Frances to Arizona. Two of Willie's children survived to adulthood: a daughter, Maud Zella b. 16 Jan 1894, and a son, Billie Alsup b. 12 Aug 1910, all in Finley, Dyer Co., TN.
