Services for Pam Adkisson, 48, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with the Rev. Kenneth Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Ms. Adkisson passed away Saturday morning after a long and courageous six-year battle with cancer.
Pam was born September 21, 1960, in Marshall, Texas, to Max and Helen Adkisson. She worked for 15 years for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the parole office as an office manager. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Dunning; parents, Max and Helen Adkisson; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Carmela Adkisson of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and David Bagley of White Oak; three nieces; and six nephews.
