Vinnie Nelson, Wife of C. Nelson Dies at Bountiful

Mrs. Vinnie Nelson, 81, wife of Christian Nelson died at her home in Bountiful very early Wednesday morning of infirmities incident to age.

Mrs. Nelson, a daughter of Anson Vasco and Charlotte Call was born at Willard, Utah, November 7, 1853 and was married to Christian Nelson on November 22, 1869. The couple were to have celebrated their sixty fifth wedding anniversary the day following here her death.

In April 1885, Mrs. Nelson made a trip to Denmark to meet her husband who had completed his labors in the Scandinavian mission. They then toured some of the countries of Europe. The writer accompanied her and associates as far as Liverpool, England where the way's parted, she going over the North Sea and the writer on to Switzerland.

Surviving are her husband, two children, Mrs Olena Devereaux of Bountiful and Ephraim Nelson of Bancroft, Idaho,
nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Anson V. Call and Joseph Call, Afton, Wyo and Chester Call, Blackfoot, Idaho and 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary V. Muir, Logan, Mrs. Hannah Hatch, Rigby, Idaho and Mrs. Ida Walton, Evanston, Wyoming.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Bountiful First ward chapel. Interment will be in Bountiful cemetery.
