Reginald S. Dansby, 81, a retired contractor, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 10 a.m. EST Monday at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville (850-926- 3333), with burial at 4 p.m. EST Monday at Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. EST until the service Monday at the funeral home.

He was the oldest son of the late Neta Loftin Dansby and D.S. Dansby. He was born in Ozark, Ala., and was a longtime resident of Ochlockonee Bay. He was a past member of the Optimist Club and the Tallahassee Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Fay Dansby of Ochlockonee Bay; a sister, Gloria Jean Dansby Day of Panama City; two brothers, Robert H. Dansby of Wewahitchka and John L. Dansby of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven nieces and nephews; two great-nieces; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years, Dell Smith Dansby. .
