Burial Note: The headstone for William Edmund Cory and Malina Ann (Van Surdam) Cory Pollard is in Block 9, Lot 79 of Pentwater Township Cemetery. However, they are actually buried on either side of Max and AmaBelle (Bower) Cory in Block 4, Lot 27. They are buried under the "Father" and "Mother" headstones. Family legend is that they weren't getting along in life, so were buried away from each other. Malina remarried after William's death; her second husband, Llewellyn Pollard, is buried elsewhere in the cemetery.
