Services Is Held For Mrs. Ricketts

Honey Grove

Services were held for Mrs. M. T. Ricketts, 70, at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist church. The Rev. T. J. Watts, pastor of the First Baptist church, conducted the service.
Interment was in Oakwood cemetery with Robert West Funeral home directing.

Pallbearers were Arthur Riddlesperger, Robert Wilson, Clarence Felts, Jack Luttrell, Leeman Riddles and J. W. Hamock.

Mrs. Ricketts died in a Paris hospital Sunday, May 12, 1957.

The survivors are her husband, M. T. Ricketts of Honey Grove; five sons, Millard Moreland of Honey Grove, Alvie Ricketts of Wolfe City, Howard Ricketts of Bonham, Lonny Ricketts of Vernon and John D. Ricketts of Waco; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Williams of Honey Grove; two sisters; one brother; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A native of Georgia, Mrs. Ricketts was the former Miss Rosie Williamson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Williamson. She was born July 29, 1886.

She was a member of the Honey Grove Baptist church.

Mrs. M. T. Ricketts Rites Held Tuesday

Mrs. M. T. (Rosa Williamson) Ricketts, 70-year-old Honey Grove resident, died in a Paris hospital at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, May 12, 1957.

She had been in ill health for several months and had been a hospital patient since Saturday.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church at 3:00 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 1957 with the pastor, the Rev. T. J. Watts officiating. Robert West Funeral Home made interment in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arthur Riddlesperger, Robert Wilson, Clarence Felts, Jack Cobb Luttrell, W. O. Cravens and J. W. Hammack.

A native of Georgia, Mrs. Ricketts was born July 29, 1886.

She was married to M. T. Ricketts on December 10, 1911.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, M. T. Ricketts of Honey Grove; five sons, Alvie Ricketts of Wolfe City, Howard Ricketts, Bonham, Lonnie Ricketts of Vernon, Millard Moreland of Honey Grove and John D. Ricketts, Waco; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Wilson, Honey Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Payne, Byers and Mrs. Jim White, Vernon; a brother, Herbert Williamson, Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
