NELL PITTS Feb. 25, 1923-March 17, 2009 Graveside funeral services for Nell Pitts, 86, of Ellisville, were held Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Wayne County. Born Sunday, Feb. 25, 1923, she was a native of Mississippi, and was a homemaker. She died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville. Survivors include a son, Edward Pitts of Laurel; a daughter-in-law, Joan Pitts of Laurel; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Daniels of Ellisville; a son-in-law, Jack Daniels of Ellisville; two grandchildren, Kim Parish and her husband, Jeffery, and Curtis Daniels; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Parish, Kennedy Parish and Haley Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband, K.C. Pitts. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
