Thank you for creating this memorial for Confederate Veteran Felix Milton Allen. Date of Death - from his Confederate Pension File, (Arkansas #00083) he died December 8, 1934. From the Application for Headstone (dated January 20, 1940, his date of death was shown as December 7, 1934. The pension file records are closest to his date of death, so I would use them as the source for the date of death.
He was buried December 9, 1934, by C.P. Turpin Funeral Home, 320 College Street. On a questionnaire dated February 18, 1932, his full name was shown as Felix Milton Allen, who was born May 1, 1845, in Marshall County, Alabama. He lived in his own home with two sons. Thank you again for creating this memorial, I hope you will be able to add the date and place of birth to his memorial. Deo Vindice ! Robert A.
