Born March 12, 1915, in Medford, Ore., Mrs. Adamcyk worked for 22 years in Gridley as a natural condition analyst for Sunsweet Prune Co. of Yuba City. She retired five years ago.
Mrs. Adamcyk was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Y.L.I. of Gridley and Cannery Workers Union No. 849 of Oroville.
She is survived by her husband, John of Gridley; five daughters, Nancy Perotti of Paradise, Rose Marie Kutsch of Sonora, Joann Hamman of Gridley, Terri Yadon of Marysville and Reggie Hunzeker of Durham; a son, Richard of Live Oak; three brothers, Herbert Schuette of Marysville, Robert Schuette of Central Point, Ore. and Edgar Schuette of Ukiah; a sister, Marie Starks of Marysville; and 19 grandchildren. A son George died in 1948.
Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Sean O’Leary. Interment will be in Gridley-Biggs District Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gridley Block Funeral Chapel.
