MRS. MARY ELIZABETH GUNNETT

Widow of George W. Gunnett, died at 6:20 this morning, of a complication of diseases, after a long illness, at the home of her son, Benjamin Irvin Gunnett, 404 Tenth Street.

She was born at Springfield Furnace (Royer) Feb. 23, 1843, and was married on March 11, 1863, to George Washington Gunnett who died eight years ago. Following his death she came to this city and had since made her home with the son mentioned.

She is survived by the following children, William Lawson and Mrs. Caroline M. Treese of Covedale, Mrs. Sarah E. Chamberlain of Altoona, Mrs. Ida Jane Yon, Mrs. Bertha May Brinser, Benjamin Irvin and Archie McClelland of Altoona. Also by two brothers Mercer Gray of Hollidaysburg and Samuel Gray of Tyrone, and by twenty-five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for a period of thirty-four years, was a kind and loving mother and a sincere friend to all who knew her.

The funeral arrangements will be made later.
