Survivors include daughter Mrs William Shively, son James, seven grandchildren & three great grandchildren.

Parsons Sun April 8, 1949:
"Lottie Merrill, 84, a resident of McCune for nearly half a century, died at 12:20 o'clock April 7, at Mt. Carmel hospital in Pittsburg. She entered the hospital three weeks ago. Many years ago Mrs. Merrill operated a millinery and dress shop in McCune, and her husband, George Merrill, operated a poultry house.
Charlotte Ann Crouch was born April 10, 1865 at Barstow, Ill, and was married there to Mr. Merrill on Oct. 24, 1888. They came to the McCune vicinity in 1898 and settled on a farm three miles southwest of town where they lived a few years, later moving into McCune. Her husband died 10 years ago.
Survivors included one daughter, Mrs. William Shively, of the home; one son, James Merrill, rural Galesburg; and seven grandchildren.
