OBITUARY: Manti Messenger Saturday 15 December 1900
Clarissa Faux Scott Dead
The very sad news of the death of Mrs. Clarissa Faux Scott, formerly of Moroni, but since her marriage, a resident of Billings, Montana, came to her parents and relatives of her former home early this week. Her remains were, as soon as properly prepared for shipment sent to Moroni for burial, and arrived at that place Thursday last. Funeral services will be held there tomorrow in the Moroni Tabernacle. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jabez Faux, Sen., of Moroni, and a sister of Mrs. G. H. Bradly of this city. Deceased was some years ago a teacher in our public schools here, and also an assistant in the office of F. W. Malverton, former Court Stenographer for the Seventh Judicial District. The cause of her death is said to be heart failure, super-induced by childbirth. The sympathy of the MESSENGER and the entire community is extended to the bereaved relatives and friends of the deceased sister, who was highly respected by all who knew her.

Daughter of Nathan Faux & Clarissa Chase. Wife of Will J. Scott.
