Forrest H. Phillips, 57, yardmaster for the Southern Railway until April 1956 and also a former switchman died at a hospital in Evansville Saturday morning following an illness of seven months.
Surviving are the widow, Helen Finney Phillips and one sister, Mrs. Lester Phillips of Princeton.
Funeral services will be held at the Colvin and Son funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Chester W. Scott officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was born in Princeton, April 8, 1899 and had resided here his entire lifetime. He was a member of the Memorial Methodist church, the Masonic lodge, Knights Templar, Shriners, Eastern Star and B. of R.T. Mr. Phillips is at Colvin and Son mortuary where friends may call after3 p.m. Monday.
Henry Phillips married Helen Phyllis Finney on June 25, 1921 in Evansville, Indiana.
