Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Wednesday, at Bethel Baptist Church where he was a member with Rev. Wayne Trexter officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Rev. Dosher was born July 11, 1910, in Brunswick County, son of the late Thomas and Rosa Howard Dosher and was a retired Baptist minister. During his ministerial career, he served as Pastor of Centerville Baptist Church in KeIly, Council Baptist Church in Council, Morven Baptist Church in Morven, Red Hill Baptist Church in Wadesboro, Glenn View Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and Olivet Baptist Church in Wilmington.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Woodrow Walton Dosher of the home; a son, Clive Dosher of Ocean Isle; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn D. Gerding of Wingate, Mrs. Ann D. Pope of Winston-Salem and Mrs. Paulette D. Brown of Cary; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Peacock-Newnam Funeral Home from 7 to 8 30 p.m. tonight.
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donors choice.
