Linda Sue Holton Pate, age 61 of Abington, went to be with her Lord after a brave one year battle with breast cancer. She was born January 27, 1947, in Richmond, to George A. Holton and Clara Aretta Boomershine Holton and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a former employee of Reid Hospital and Canteen Vending Company. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Centerville High School and was a former member of the Job's Daughters. She was a member of Abington Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Garry D. Pate whom she married June 1, 1968; two daughters, Melissa Seiber and her husband Phillip of Connersville, and Emily Boyd and her husband Gary of Connersville; one son, Garry Lloyd Pate and his wife Angie of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, Dara and Wade Pate, Zach and Kendra Boyd, and Morgan and Kamyron Seiber; two sisters, Marilyn Phenis and her husband Henry of Abington, and Barbara Brady and her husband Robert of Florida; nieces and nephews.
