Mary, I sent an edit to change the birth year to 1834... I did check the cemetery listing and it does say 1861. However, the census records show 1834, she was married to Prof Dodson in 1854 and her first child Ella was born in 1856. So that birth year must be a mistake... either in engraving or transcribing. : ) The death date is correct. I have asked for a grave marker photo... maybe that will tell us something for sure.ha
