Steve Strickland Choate, 85, of 3501 James, a retired building contractor, died Monday afternoon at a Fort Worth hospital. He was born at Kosse and had lived in Tarrant County 45 years. He is survived by three sons, T. L. and D. T. Choate, both of Fort Worth and L. R. Choate of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hill of Phoenix, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Owens-Brumley Funeral Chapel and burial will be at the Noah Cemetery, Arlington, TX. Steven married Louetta KIRKPATRICK.
