Ida Frances Rowell, wife of Charles E. Rowell. died Wednesday at a local hospital.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Stuhr's Downtown Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rowell was born Nov 5, 1905 in Ravenel, a daughter of Richard J. Beach and Julie Elsey Beach.She was a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: two daughters Mrs. J.H. Walker of Johns Island and Mrs. W. Dale Cook of Thomas Ga; two sons James E. Rowell of Charleston and William Rowell of Ridgeland; two sisters Mrs. .C. Decker of Campvell, N.Y.; A.W. Hutson of Ladson; and 19 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
