She married James Earnest "Jim" Mongold in Kingfisher on February 12, 1934. They started the Main Street Fruit Market in Shawnee in 1948 and operated it until retiring in 1992. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Juanita Mongold of Shawnee, granddaughters, Kathy Scott of Moore and Shereatta and Gus Tarbox of Tecumseh, three great-grandsons, sisters and brothers-in-law, Goldie MacArthur of Shawnee, Deanie and Warren Lee of Amarillo, Texas, Bertha and Carl Worley of Shawnee and Wanda and Jim Gotcher of Chandler, Arizona and brother and sister-in-law, Elmo and Ada Harlin of Amarillo, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1995, her parents, one sister, Opal Kizes and one brother, Luther Harlin.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Chapel, Tecumseh with Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
