Oct. 1973: John A. Wolfe, husband of Ada Balsbaugh Wolfe, Bethel RD 1, died yesterday in his residence after a long illness. He was aged 66. Born in Bethel Twp., he was a son of Willoughby and Kate Brossman Wolfe. He was a retired butcher, and was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hamlin. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Pauline A., wife of Gerald Seiler, of Bethel; a son, John A. Jr., of Lancaster; four grandchildren; a brother, Peter, of Sinking Spring;two sisters, Mrs. Mary Krause, of Lebanon; and Emma, wife of Lester Sharoe, of Fredericksburg. [Lebanon Daily News]
