EAST PALESTINE - Mrs. Myrtle E. Wolfe, 77, of 55 W. Taggart St., died at 3:55 p.m. Saturday in the East Liverpool Extended Care Center. She had been in the center since Feb. 26 and had been in ill health for six months. Born in Kittanning, Pa., on Oct. 21, 1896, she was the daughter of Amos and Mary Lemmon Lasher. She was a member of the Ford Memorial Methodist Church of Ford City, Pa., and attended the Centenary United Methodist Church of East Palestine. She married Roscoe W. Wolfe on May 21, 1917, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Skinner of East Palestine and Mrs. August Pella of Kittanning; two sons, Jack of East Palestine and Ronald of Kittanning; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hutchison of Orrstown, Pa., and Mrs. Dorothy Bognullo of New York City; two brothers Theodore of Union City. Pa., and Roy of Kittanning; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, with Rev. Wallace Aker and Rev. Robert Sherman in charge. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wolfe was born Oct. 21, 1896 at Kittanning, a daughter of Amos and Mary (Lemmon) Lasher, and moved to East Palestine, Ohio in 1941. She was a member, of Ford Memorial Methodist Church, Ford City, and attended Centenary United Methodist Church of East-Palestine. She was married to Roscoe W. Wolfe on May 21, 1917. In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Pella of Kittanning and Mrs. Ruth Skinner of East Palestine, Ohio; two sons, Ronald of Kittanning and Jack of East Palestine, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hutchison of Orrstown and Mrs. Dorothy Bognuolo of New York City; two brothers Theodore Lasher of Union City and Roy Lasher of Kittanning; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services were held yesterday in Ohio.

Ohio Family Visits Wilson Ave. Couple.

Mr. and Mrs. James Skinner and children Kathy and Ronnie came here from East Palestine, Ohio, for a visit with Mr. Skinner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Skinner of Wilson Ave. and other family members. They were accompanied here by Mrs. Skinner's mother, Mrs. R. W. Wolfe of East Palestine and Mrs. Mabel Hutchison of Orrstown. Mrs. Wolfe and Mrs. Hutchison, twin sisters, spent the week end with Mrs. Wolfe's son Ronald Wolfe and family of 1005 Orr Ave. Mr. Wolfe and Mrs. Skinner are twin brother and sister and the third generation of twins was represented in Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wolfe's twin daughters.
