She was employed at Westinghouse for a short period of time but was a homemaker her entire life. Marjorie was a member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed cleaning her house every day and taking care of her cats, Tuffy and Bobo. An animal lover, she took special care to feed all stray animals that came to her door. Marjorie never missed a Saturday in 40 years of getting her hair done at L.A. Hair.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Jim) Perry, Peggy (Glenn) Mosier and Luann (Gary) Watson, all of Mansfield; stepdaughter, Shirley Wharton of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two great-great grandsons; a brother-in-law, James (Vivian) Salsgiver; two sisters-in-law, Vi Salsgiver and Carmen Salsgiver; several nieces and nephews; special friend and beautician of 40 years, Jeanie (Dean) Featheringham; and her cats, Tuffy and Bobo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Salsgiver, Sr. in 2004; sister, Mildred Prion; stepson, Robert L. Salsgiver, Jr.; grandson, Michael Williams; brothers-in-law, Chuck Salsgiver, Roy Henry and John Prion; and sisters-in-law, Dottie Shupe, Mary Weiland and Helen Jarvis.
