Services for Miss Lila Baird, of Lufkin, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fletcher Erwin officiating and burial following in the Huntington Cemetery.
Miss Baird died Friday afternoon in a local hospital.
She was born in Angelina county and was a lifelong resident of Lufkin and Huntington. She was retired from Lufkin Telephone Exchange where she worked as office manager and bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lufkin.
Survivors: 4 nieces, Rebecca Book, Martha Strawn, Helen Dement and Lila Ruth Parzych; 4 nephews, Murrell Jones, Louis G. Dunham, Jack Holt and James W. Holt; several great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Jack Holt, Ben Jones, Ike Estes, Louis G. Dunham, C. S. Adkins, Jr., William C. Brook and Richard Adkins.
