Erla Jane (Herr) Arnold, 87, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 17, 2007. Born October 3, 1919, Erla was a daughter of the late Walter E. and Martha B. (Glick) Herr. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Howard L. Arnold.
Mrs. Arnold was a member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, the Friendship Circle at Stehman Memorial United Methodist Church, and the sewing circle in Millersville.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by two nieces: Donna Breneman and Shirley Warfel; and a cousin, Donald Schmid. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Arnold; a brother, James Herr; and a nephew, Leroy Arnold.
Funeral services will be graveside 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Stehman Memorial United Methodist (Greenfield) Church Cemetery, 485 Indian Run Rd., Millersville, with Rev. Kenneth O'Neal officiating. The Gundel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boehm's United Methodist Church, 13 West Boehms Rd., Willow Street, PA 17584.
