Mrs. Paul (Florence M.) Reidy, 94, Morris, Illinois passed away early Friday morning, January 2, 2009, peacefully with her loving family by her side, in Rivershores Living Center in Marseilles, Illinois. She was born on June 28, 1914 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of George and Maude LaFreniere Finnegan.

Florence married Paul V. Reidy on May 27, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois.

Mrs. Reidy was a member of Naval Women's Auxiliary in Hammond, Indiana. She served with the Women's Extension Club in Minooka, Illinois. She also was a former league bowler at Echo Lanes in Morris, Illinois and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survived by her daughter, Florence Foley, Stockwell, Indiana; three sons, George (Bette) LaBelle of Morris, Illinois, Robert (Donna) LaBelle of Little Chute, Wisconsin, and Philip Labelle of Morris, Illinois; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; daughter in law, Claudia Taylor of Munster, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded by her parents; her husband on August 8, 1986; one daughter, Bernice Fitzpatrick on July 30, 2008; two sons, Lawerence (Lonnie) Taylor in 1989, and Arthur John Labelle on July 5, 2007; and one brother, Edward Finnegan.
