Ida Osborn was born 4/26/1914, near Cogar, OK., the daughter of Gotlieb & Emma Koerner Kuhlman. She died Saturday, 8/2/2003 at her home near Tuttle. She lived in the Hazel Dell community and worked in Chickasha, later moving to the Tuttle area, where she lived most of her life. She & Roy Osborn were married 3/22/1936 at Roy Osborn's parents home, west of Tuttle. She was a member of the United Methodist church of Tuttle, holding numerous positions in the church, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the County Extension Homemakers. Ida & Roy had served as class parents while their children were in school. She & Roy met in church and donated the land where the Tuttle United Methodist church sits.
Her husband, Roy, preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Ed Kuhlman & Tommy Kuhlman, and 2 sisters, Joretta Frost & Helen Collins.
Survivors include a son, James E. Osborn & wife Mary Ann of Tuttle, daughter, Janis Kennedy & husband Carl of Seneca, SC., son, Leon Osborn & wife Rosemary of Tuttle, 4 brothers, Martin Kuhlman of Phoenix, AZ., Otto Kuhlman of Tuttle, John R. Kuhlman of Oklahoma City, & Leroy Kuhlman of Sand Springs, OK., 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home of Tuttle.
