George Anderson, 77, of Worthington, passed away on Saturday (Dec. 13, 2008) at Woodlands Personal Care Home in Worthington. He was born in Wheeling on Aug. 1, 1931, a son of the late Glenn H. and Iva B. Henderson Anderson. George was a Baptist by Faith and was a kind pleasant person. He will be missed by the staff and his friends at the Woodlands Personal Care Home. He is survived by several caregivers who assisted him over the years. Family and friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Barker officiating. Interment services will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
