Charlotte was daughter of Gustave Albien and Johanna Shojren. She married Martin Anderson 29 May 1902 at Clarkfield. She died at Clarkfield, YM county, Mn.
***********

Mrs. Charlotte Marie Anderson was born in Stiby, Sweden on November 27, 1878,
the daugher of Gustaf and Johanne Albin. She was baptized and confirmed in the
Lutheran faith in Skaane, Sweden, by Rev. Lorenze Soderlind.

Her father had already immigrated to America when she came to this country in
1896. She lived with her father on the farm west of Hanley Falls, Minnesota,
until shortly after her mother and brother, Olaf, came over from Sweden. After
her mother had arrived, she was united in marriage to Martin Anderson of rural
Hanley Falls on the 29th of May, 1902. Her husband was engaged in farming west
of Hanley Falls where they then made their home. To this union, seven children
were born, five daughters: Esther, Marion, Julia, Helen, Irma; and two sons:
Milford and Elmer.

They farmed west of Hanley Falls until 1942 when they retired from farming and
bought a home in Hanley Falls where they have resided ever since. The two sons
have worked the home farm. At first the family joined the Hauge Lutheran Church
west of Hanley Falls, but since moving to Hanley Falls, they joined the Yellow
Medicine Lutheran Church and have been members ever since.

Mrs. Anderson was of good health until four years ago when she fell and broke
her hip. She hasn't been so strong since that fall, but carried on in the home
as she was able. On Wednesday morning, June 19th, she took ill and fell. She was
taken in the ambulance to the Clarkfield Hospital and passed away quietly
Sunday, June 23, 1957, at the age of 78 years and six months.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Martin Anderson; her five
daughters: Esther (Mrs. Marvin Hardel), Marion (Mrs. Thebert Sheveland), both of
Hanley Falls, Julia (Mrs. John Toner) of Aurora, Illinois, Helen (Mrs. George
Gilbertson) of Boyd, Minnesota, Irma (Mrs. Lowell Hagestead) of Wood Lake,
Minnesota; two sons: Milford and Elmer, both of Hanley Falls; 20 grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren; two brothers: Olaf Albin of Langby, Minnesota, and
Carl Albin of Hanley Falls; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Her parents and a brother preceded her in death
