OBITUARY :
ABRAM S. SNOWBERGER, Well known farmer residing at Clappertown, died at this home there last night at 10 o'clock.
He was the son of John M. and Rebecca Snowberger and was born in Taylor township on Jan. 3, 1863.
He was twice married, the first union being with Amanda A. Brown in 1887. On May 20, 1919, he was united in marriage with Amelia Treese, who survives with the following children: Mrs. Daniel Diehl of Long Branch, N.J., Mrs. John Wood, Mrs. Edison Haller, Mrs. Earl Heaton, Mrs. Raymond Shaffer, Miss Ruth Snowberger and Herman Snowberger, all of Akron, O., Harry Snowberger of Jeannette and Clarence Snowberger of Lakemont.
Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Fred S. Snowberger of Catfish, William of Lakemont, George of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Susan Green of McKee, Mrs. Eli Baker of Roaring Spring and Mrs. David Ebersole of Frankstown, also seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows at Martinsburg and the Clappertown Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Martinsburg Lutheran church Thursday morning at 10.30 o'clock in charge of his pastor, Rev. Vernon D. Naugle of Williamsburg, assisted by Rev. D. L. Shaffer, pastor of St. Matthew's church at Martinsburg. Interment will be made in Martinsburg Fairview cemetery.
