Graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 in Roberts Barnett Cemetery in Perry County for Vonnie Elise Barnett Coleman of Waverly, Tennessee. Mrs. Coleman, age 92, passed away Nov. 1, 2010, Waverly Tennessee. Rev. E.G. "Buddy" Mullinax officiated the service. Humphreys County Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Coleman was born June 27, 1918 in the Denson's Landing Community of Perry County. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Coleman was the daughter of the late William Jerry Barnett and Annie Elizabeth Love Barnett. She was married to the late Alfred A. Coleman.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one grandson, Jason Dewayne Coleman; and two great grandchildren: Robert Jacob Kelley and Brittney Nicole Kelley. Survivors include one son, James Randall (Nelda) Coleman of Lobelville; one daughter, Peggy Kelley of Waverly; three grandchildren: Laura Dawn Kelley, Lawrence David Kelley and Jan Elizabeth Arnold; three great grandchildren: Brandon David Kelley, Brandon Thomas Kelley, Broden Parker Kelly; and three step grandchildren,
Katie Hinds, Joyce Ewing, and Teauna Ewing.
