Beloved husband, father, grand- father and friend, Brent Douglas Covington, age 64, passed away on December 31, 2008.
Born January 11, 1944 in Murray, Utah to Douglas B. and Alice Emma Hansen Covington. Grew up on Danish Road. Graduated from Jordan High. Served an LDS Mission to New Zealand. Served in the Army Reserves. Married Suzanne Larsen, June 26, 1964 had eight children: Randy (Tanja) Covington, Stacey (Phil) Lambertsen, Brett (Michelle) Covington, Jenny (Jeff) Culligan, Allyson (Jeremy) Christensen, Christopher Covington, Bonnie Sue Covington (deceased), David Covington. Later divorced. Married Sandra Lynn Fullmer April 8, 1992.
Survived by his wife, Sandra; children; two step-sons, Todd (Lorel) Hayes, Tyson Hayes; 24 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Frances; brother, Robert; infant daughter. "We love and will miss you!"
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray 29th Ward Chapel, 6300 South 700 West. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
