Mrs. Clara S. Buhler, of 715 W Oak St., died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in her residence after an illness of seven years. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., April 1, 1899, and had lived in South Bend most of her life, coming here from Buffalo. In 1949 in Fort Wayne, she was married to Daniel Buhler, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Antionette Stiatkowski of South Bend, three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Levy of South Bend, Mrs. Geraldine Dawson of Ft. Pierce, Fls., and Miss Susan Buhler at home; two sons, William of Long Beach, Calif., and George of Santa Monica, Calif., and seven sisters, Mrs. Chester Dobecki, Mrs. George Polcyn, Mrs. Victor Pinkowski, Mrs. Alex Majewski and Mrs. Lawrence Bermas all of South Bend, Mrs. Herbon Overlease of Mishawaka and Mrs. John Walasiak of East Chicago, Ind. Friends may call today in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Herbert T. Tetzlaff pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Bermas, Victor Pinkowski, Alen Majewski, George Polcyn, Chester Dobecki and Francis Kopinski. 5 of the 9 sisters identified in this photo are
